Update an InfluxDB scraper
API token hashing is enabled by default in InfluxDB OSS 2.9.0
Stronger token security: tokens are stored as hashes on disk, so a copy of the database file doesn’t expose usable tokens. Existing tokens are hashed on first startup and the original strings can’t be recovered afterward — capture any plaintext tokens you still need before you upgrade.

Update a scraper in the InfluxDB user interface (UI).
Scraper Target URLs and Buckets cannot be updated. To modify either, create a new scraper.
Update a scraper in the InfluxDB UI
In the navigation menu on the left, select Data (Load Data) > Scrapers.
Hover over the scraper you would like to update and click the that appears next to the scraper name.
Enter a new name for the scraper. Press Return or click out of the name field to save the change.
