influx auth create
The influx auth create
command creates an API token in InfluxDB.
Issue resolved: Using influx CLI 2.4 prevented you from creating an all-access or operator token using the influx auth create
command. This issue is resolved in the influx 2.5 CLI release. Please upgrade to the latest version of the influx cli.

Examples
Authentication credentials
The examples below assume your InfluxDB host, organization, and token are
provided by either the active influx
CLI configuration or by environment variables (INFLUX_HOST
, INFLUX_ORG
, and INFLUX_TOKEN
).
If you do not have a CLI configuration set up or the environment variables set, include these required credentials for each command with the following flags:
--host
: InfluxDB host-o, --org
or--org-id
: InfluxDB organization name or ID-t, --token
: InfluxDB API token
- Create an All Access API token or Create an Operator API token
- Create an API token with specified read and write permissions
- Create a token with read and write access to specific buckets
- Create a read-only API token
Create an All Access API token
Create an All Access token to grant permissions to all resources in an organization.
influx auth create \
